This time around Cory talked to Taylor McNallie about her work organizing with Inclusive Canada and some other topics like defunding the police and racism in Canada. Then Justin covers Socialism: Utopian and Scientific for Red Reviews and finally Cory reads a bit for a new segment
Hey folks, welcome to the mind of a skeptical leftist the podcast for promoting critical thinking, progressive politics, and left wing philosophy. I’m excited to present this episode because I’m a big fan of my guest. This time around I talked to Taylor McNallie who is an organizer with Inclusive Canada and it was a really good conversation about her organization and some of the work she’s been doing. Then in the second half of the show on Red Reviews Justin takes us through Engel’s Socialism Utopian and Scientific, and if you stick with me that long after Red Reviews I will read The Anarchist Turn by Jacob Blumenfeld, Chiara Bottici and Simon Critchley which came out in 2013 and is about how the negative view of anarchy has started to shift and is becoming more feasible to achieve for about 15 minutes before the end of the show.
