Interview #44- What is the State? with Anark

Hey folks, welcome to the next great interview on The Mind of a Skeptical Leftist. This time around I talked to Anark of the Youtube channel of the same name. It’s a good chat and I think we cover a lot of ground on what a state is and why anarchists have a truly comprehensive understanding of it. We also cover a bit about why some Marxists don’t seem to have as good a handle on the state or even all of Marx’s writing. I’m far from an expert but Anark certainly has done his research so I defer to him quite a bit. As with all discussions I learned a lot and while I enjoy talking to any and all leftists that aren’t truly awful, there is something about talking to other anarchists that really helps me feel less alone in the big dark capitalist hellscape we live in.
